Zheng Nathan Nie
a Chinese filmmaker who has dedicated his life to exploring many different aspects of filmmaking.
Having lived in the U.S. for eight years, Zheng started developing a can-do spirit since his undergraduate study at Michigan State University. Upon earning his B.A. in Media Arts at MSU, he moved to New York City and worked for Simba Productions as both editor and videographer. Soon after, he studied cinematography in NYFA for a year. Then he moved to LA to pursue my MFA in directing/production at the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television.
Zheng's films have been screen at multiple film festivals and won several awards. His latest short film “Rest in Peace” won the UCLA Director’s Spotlight Award in 2017."
