Stanford University's Cantor Arts Center
Osher (50+). In this course, we take a virtual tour of Stanford University's Cantor Arts Center.
About this course:
The Bay Area is home to several world-class museums. The Cantor Arts Center is rare in that it was founded by a private family. Their collection spans 5,000 years and includes more than 38,000 works of art from around the globe, including Rodin bronze sculptures. In this course, we explore the history, the collection, as well as the impetus and approach the Stanfords took in building, maintaining, and celebrating the collection. This course will be recorded. Students will have access to the video for 30 days.Summer 2025 Schedule
