About this course:

This course takes a theoretical understanding of leadership effectiveness to a practical level, translating the concept of Personal and Professional Self-Mastery into a way of living that is Balanced and Happy 88% of the time. Participants are asked to call their own BS…identifying Belief Systems that are keeping them from being happy and successful leaders. For example, leaders and aspiring leaders will have the opportunity for self-assessment and answer questions like: What am I thinking, saying or doing that continues to sabotage my opportunities for success? Do I suffer from the Dis-Ease of Perfectionism? Do I have a fear of failure? Do I have a fear of success? What is that critical chatter in my head saying that keeps me anxious and dissatisfied? Are my positive intentions resulting in negative impacts? What are my core belief systems about myself and others that are operating consciously and subconsciously and automatically, maybe developed as a coping mechanism from my past to avoid pain, now damaging my ability to be an effective leader? Does my intent to be a clear, fair, visionary and motivating leader match with my actual impact? Do I have a balanced sense of self, my strengths and weaknesses? Am I experiencing Imposter Syndrome, never feeling good enough no matter how much I achieve? Am I leading from a place of insecurity and fear, or from a deep sense of ok-ness and appreciation for myself first and then effectively with others? This course will use a blend of experiential exercises, interactive lectures, real world case studies, personal reflection and action plans to support Balanced Personal and Professional Self-Mastery. Personal assessment tools and checklists created from the instructors extensive work as an consulting psychologist and executive coach to C-suite leaders, entrepreneurs, managers and board members, will support the participants' journey to Leadership Success and Happiness.
