Receiving Your Academic Credentials

Certificates and Specializations

The My Certificates and Specializations link on your Student Portal can help you to monitor your academic progress. Once you have completed your final courses, reach out to your program representative to request an audit of your certificate and/or specialization program requirements.

The UCLA Extension Office of the Registrar will post your certificate or award of completion (for specializations) to your transcript once your program representative verifies all requirements have been met. Your transcript is your official academic record at UCLA Extension.

You will be notified of the timeline for delivery once your award is posted to your transcript. Please note that standard USPS may take up to four weeks to arrive.*

Earned with Distinction
Students who complete their academic certificate programs with a GPA of 3.5 or higher have the honor “Earned with Distinction” cited on their certificate and posted to their academic transcript.
