This course provides a fundamental introduction to the complexities and responsibilities of payroll tax laws, forms, and accounting and is targeted to those who employ others, are responsible for complying with the various tax laws, or work in a payroll department. The course extends beyond learning the traditional payroll tax forms and is intended for employers and accountants who have multinational payroll responsibilities as well as for those who are preparing for the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Examination. After completion, students should have the skills to set up a rudimentary payroll tax system for a small office or business, as well as setting up and/or operating a payroll system within a larger corporation.
