Erin Zamrzla
Erin Zamrzla loves creating with paper, and has done so for as long as she can remember. She began binding books over ten years ago and since then has developed her skills working with a variety of bindings and materials, creating hundreds of books. She particularly enjoys transforming old, used objects into something new and wonderful.
Her work has been featured in a variety of online and printed sources, including ReadyMade magazine, Coudal.com, Design*Sponge, BoingBoing.net, Craftzine.com, Makezine.com and NOTCOT.org. Her first instructional book on Japanese book binding, At Home with Handmade Books, was published by Shambhala Press in 2011.
Erin holds her MFA in graphic design and is currently designing and binding books from her home in Santa Monica.
