Judy Shane

Judy Shane is an award-winning writer, communication strategist, and trainer who's received 10 international business communication awards, including the prestigious IABC Jake Wittmer Award. She began her career as a magazine journalist for Petersen Publishing, served for 10 years as a public affairs manager for Northrop Grumman and was the employee communications manager at Fletcher Challenge Ltd. in Auckland, New Zealand, for 7 years. In 1997, she returned to the USA and formed Shane Communication. In addition to her consulting, she teaches writing and technical communication in UCLA's engineering department, publishes regular environmental articles, and delivers corporate training seminars.
