Terrence Lucero

Biography of Terrence A. Lucero,  MS (Taxation)  CPA

Mr. Lucero has been an adjunct college and university instructor since 1999, teaching at such schools as California State Universities Northridge and Channel Islands, Cerritos College, and UCLA Extension.  Courses taught at UCLA Extension include the complete sequence of Intermediate Accounting A, B, and C.  At CSUN he has taught advanced taxation of partnerships and corporations, while at Channel Islands and Cerritos he has taught both introductory financial and managerial accounting. 

He is a sole practitioner CPA with his office in Encino.  Due to twists and turns in his career path his practice includes two separate specialties.  One is financial audits and reviews of mid-size closely-held manufacturing and construction companies, along with related tax planning and compliance for the companies and their shareholders.  The other is entertainment industry clients, particularly foreign actors working in the US and American talent working on projects in other countries, predominately Canada.  His tax practice also includes high net worth individuals and their investments.

While at previous firms he participated in various projects, including a business split-up and reorganization of a farming company, audit of a small municipal water district, business valuations and forensic accounting for civil litigation, and litigation support for divorce cases.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Taxation (with distinction) from California State University, Northridge, along with active licenses as a Certified Public Accountant in California and Colorado.
