Angela Harris

Angela, M.A., has been an instructor for the UCLA Extension College Counseling Program since March 2012. Her experience consists of being a public high school college and guidance counselor for many years and the Director of Financial Aid and Counseling for a private College Planning Company. Currently, she is a Financial Aid Counselor at the community college level where she meets with students who have been denied financial aid in order to assist them with their financial aid appeal. She also helps students decipher their financial aid award letters for four-year universities, remaining lifetime financial aid eligibility and anything else related to a student's financial aid file. She attended CSUN where she earned a bachelor's degree in liberal studies, a master’s degree in School Counseling and a Pupil Personal Services Credential. She also has a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension. In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband and two children camping at the beach.
