SPAN XL 3
Introductory Spanish language and culture course that is proficiency-oriented, communicative and task-based to help develop communicative competence in four skill areas (listening, speaking, reading and writing. Transferable for UC credit.
Describe and argue about career and employment, health and medical treatment, travel arrangements and preferences, and cooking and favorite recipes
Compare and contrast historical, economic, or cultural issues of Spanish-speaking countries
Identify and correctly use grammatical structures

Prerequisites
SPAN XL 2 Elementary Spanish, or proof of equivalent and consent of instructor at the first session.
If taken for credit, successful completion of SPAN XL 3 satisfies the Foreign Language requirement of the UCLA College of Letters and Science. Additional requirements include microphone, headphones/speakers and webcam.
Enrollment limited to 25 students. Visitors not permitted.
