About this course:

This course provides an overview of the major topics related to manufacturing processes for biotechnology. It covers introduction of biopharmaceutical production, process development, product characterization, quality by design (QbD), risk management, quality assurance, process scale-up and validation, manufacturing facility, biological drug regulations, process economy, outsourcing and vendor management and an overview of key topics. Students have the chance to play different roles and help to solve real problems in today's biopharmaceutical industry.
