Brien Walton
Brien Walton has been practicing real estate and corporate tax law over the last 20 years, concentrating on financial services that involve brokerage, corporate finance, and portfolio management.
As a life-long learner, Brien has earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology, a Juris Doctorate [J.D.], a graduate certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, a Master of Laws degree in Taxation [LL.M.] from Georgetown University, a Master's degree in Educational Technologies [A.L.M.] from Harvard University. After passing the Bar Exam in the early 90's to start practicing law, Brien also earned a real estate broker's license and a mortgage banking license in multiple states. He has been certified by the State of Arizona as a Real Estate Instructor, has owned and operated a State-approved real estate licensing school, and is currently a partner in a financial services firm specializing in business incubators, and mergers and acquisitions involving real estate.
Brien has taught Real Estate Finance, Business Law, Real Estate Law, and Real Estate Investment Analysis courses for UCLA since 2002.
