Amir Zavichi Tork
Dr. Amir Zavichi’s experience in construction management spans over a decade. Currently, he is a Construction Manager at Port of Los Angeles where he applies professional management techniques to the planning, design, and construction of the projects at the busiest port in the nation. Prior to joining Port of Los Angeles, Amir was working as a construction consultant at Parsons Company.
Dr. Zavichi completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Central Florida (UCF). During his Ph.D. program, he also received a graduate certificate in Applied Operations Research. He is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California (PE), and a Certified Construction Manager (CMC). He is also a board member for the non-profit organization, “Iranian-American Engineers and Architects.”
