GENINT 721.736
Osher (50+). In this course, we discuss aging and healthy, purposeful living into older adulthood.
About this course:
In this course, we delve into the social constructs of aging, ageism, the science of healthy aging, and the false promise of retirement. Our exploration begins with the current era of unprecedented human longevity as a pivotal opportunity for societal reimagination—redefining the purpose of this new and uncharted phase in life and identifying supportive policies and practices for healthy, purposeful living into older adulthood. Discussion draws on weekly readings as well as personal experience, but is not intended as retirement coaching, financial planning, healthcare advice, or emotional support.Corporate Education
