About this course:

This course is designed to start you on your mindfulness journey and show you some practices available to you as you cope with daily life. You can experience greater calm, presence and peace—even in the midst of the turmoil in the world. With regular meditation practice focused on kindfulness, even for just 5 minutes a day, you can begin to develop new levels of mindfulness, resilience and connection to yourself and others. This could be particularly beneficial for older adults who are more sensitive to the degenerative effects of stress-related inflammation. This course uses the Hybrid (Flexible) format which allows students to participate remotely and/or in the classroom.
