Using primary sources and documentary films as text, we examine the legacy of Coach John Wooden and UCLA Basketball’s unparalleled 88-game winning streak against the backdrop of a rapidly changing American political and cultural landscape from 1971-1974. The course includes an optional visit to the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame from 12-1 p.m. and is offered in anticipation of OLLI’s summer fundraiser, John Wooden’s Wisdom.Contact Us
