About this course:

Inspired by the “black swan,” a concept referring to rare, unpredictable events with an extreme impact, the “green swan” refers to events due to climate change, which will occur more and more often in the future. In this course, we introduce the concept of green swans and discuss their specific threats to the economy’s financial stability. We also look at some of the new methodological risk management tools that risk professionals and policy makers are using to mitigate them.
