This course will identify the 16 major artistic periods in Western civilization, from prehistory to contemporary, and will identify the single characteristic that best describes the artistic endeavors of each period.

- 16 individual periods will be discussed in intervals of 10 minutes

This course will identify the 16 major artistic periods in Western civilization, from prehistory to contemporary, and will identify the single characteristic that best describes the determining factors for the artistic endeavors of each period within Western civilization.
