Monique Sorgen

Raised in San Francisco and Paris, France, Monique Sorgen is an award-winning writer-director for her recent short comedies Sorry, Not Sorry and Rock a Bye Baby. She previously directed branded reality series, several other successful shorts, and music videos that were acquired by the Disney Channel and the Jonas Brothers. As a writer, she has developed with Imagine Entertainment, DiNovi Pictures, USA/Universal, Morgan Freeman’s Revelations, and David Oyelowo’s Yoruba Saxon, among others. Most recently, she became a Sony Directing Fellow and completed a sitcom pilot starring sock puppets.
