Look at published examples of different ways writers employ condensing or expanding time in their writing
Understand what craft techniques you can use to adapt time to your own work for maximum impact on the reader
Practice writing your own time-sensitive narratives

About this course:

From summaries covering centuries to slow-motion sequences that represent seconds, from real time to no time, the clock and the calendar are handled in different ways on the page. In this 3-hour seminar we will look at representative samples of time in all its variability, and we’ll write our own time-sensitive narratives.
