Writers, communicators, and professionals in every field can benefit from acquiring the techniques to mount a compelling case, clinch the argument and call to action. In this course, students discover what makes opinion writing--editorials, columns, and commentaries--stimulating, memorable, provocative and persuasive. Students study past masters of the craft through texts and handouts, as well as learn from some of the modern masters who join as guests.
