What you can learn.

  • Learn how to set up a Lightroom catalog, import images, and organize an image library
  • Understand how to locate, sort and filter images, arrange folders and collections, and use keywords and image metadata
  • Study basic tonal and color corrections, cropping, and perspective adjustments
  • Perform targeted adjustments using masking and retouching tools
  • Practice exporting images in a desired format and size, as well as create and output as a pdf

About this course:

An intensive introduction to Adobe Lightroom as an image management and RAW image processing system. The workshop will provide an in-depth overview of Lightroom file management functions and strategies, as well as how to manage a digital workflow setup. Students will practice key techniques of RAW image editing and develop an understanding of the full process of digital editing, from input to organizing, editing, post processing and output.
