About this course:
This course focuses on art being created in Los Angeles at the current moment. The course consists of five sessions, three of which will be in-person and two live on Zoom. During each in-person class we will visit galleries, artists’ studios, or a museum, where we will meet with gallery directors, artists, and curators. On Zoom, through both PowerPoint presentations and discussions, we will analyze and review what was seen and set the work in context with regard to the artists’ oeuvres and the contemporary art world as a whole.Contact Us
