Dialogue Society Presents Auctus Productions

Dialogue Society, a UCLA student organization, would like to invite you to a free on-campus event in March, featuring Auctus Productions, an award-winning, student-run, film production company based in New York City. 

Whether a documentary or fiction, the young entrepreneurs of Auctus Productions make films that are not only artistic but inspire dialogue and creativity, and serve as a catalyst for change in our perspective of the world around us.

Some of Auctus Productions’ notable projects tell the story of amazing athletes which include "Jack Harrison|Road to City", a co-production with Major League Soccer, featured on ESPN and MLS Soccer, "Punch: The Story of Adelino Da Costa", which won Best Documentary Short at the 2019 NYC International Films Infest Festival, and "Extra Time | Life Beyond Football" with Christian Fuchs.

The March event, moderated by actor and renowned thespian, Mark Capri, will include: 

• Viewing short and inspiring films
• Discussing the technical, logistical, and creative challenges of producing short documentaries
• Learning what it is like to start an independent film company as full-time students
