  • Describe and argue about career and employment, health and medical treatment, travel arrangements and preferences, and cooking and favorite recipes
  • Compare and contrast historical, economic, or cultural issues of Spanish-speaking countries
  • Identify and correctly use grammatical structures

About this course:

Introductory Spanish language and culture course that is proficiency-oriented, communicative, and task-based to help develop communicative competence in four skill areas (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Transferable for UC credit.
Prerequisites
SPAN XL 2 Elementary Spanish or proof of equivalent and consent of instructor at the first session.
