Da Vinci Extension

College and career readiness

High school student with instructor

Da Vinci Extension (DVX) exists to develop students and foster a safe environment to explore their college, career and life goals. This is done by creating a challenging but supportive learning environment. Our program seeks to equip students with growth in social, emotional and intellectual development.

Da Vinci Extension’s college and career pathway program, founded in 2015, builds upon the success of the Da Vinci Schools’ K-12 program, blending college, career and life to support students in navigating through their first years of college.

Current Da Vinci students* who wish to complete their freshman year general education college coursework may participate in a one-year college pathway developed in partnership with UCLA Extension.

Designed to give students exposure to various career options, DVX students will take college coursework while gaining on-the-job work experience through project consults, internships and boot camps at local companies.

*Prospective students must be current 12th graders at Da Vinci Design or Da Vinci Science and be in good standing.
